The Fledging Birders Institute would like to thank the Kenn Kaufman Nature Site, Wild
Birds Unlimited, the Houghton Mifflin Company, WildBird (the magazine), the Cape
May Young Birders Club, and the Ohio Young Birders Club for their support of the
Schoolyard Birding Challenge.

For the Schoolyard Birding Challenge, there will be one (1) monthly grand prize winner.
- a copy of the Kaufman Field Guide to Birds of North America
- a window cafe bird feeder
- plus additional age-appropriate bird-related prizes such as plush singing birds, a year
subscription to WildBird, or a bird literature selection*.
In addition to the monthly grand prize, all participating schools will be entered
into random drawings for additional prizes.
